Menopause at work: ‘You don’t get taken as seriously if you’re standing there sweating’

Menopause symptoms can be hard to take at any time, but it’s extra challenging when you have to deal with hot flushes (and the rest) at work. You can’t exactly spend the day hanging out in the office kitchen with the fridge open - unless, of course, you work in the refrigeration industry. 


We asked three women how they managed menopause symptoms in their jobs, from the challenges of working in a male-dominated corporate culture to thriving in the supportive environment of a women-only gym.
